Niklas Astedt, better known by his PokerStars screen name “lena900”, led the PocketFives all time money list between January 2020 and April 2021. While he’s no longer on top, he still can’t stop delivering major online scores.
His latest big result is from the 2021 WSOP Super Circuit Online Series, played on Natural8-GGNetwork.
He took down the $525 Main Event. Astedt entered a massive field of 61,456 entries. By the time it got down to the last 9 players, he had the largest stack in the tournament.
Early on at the final table, he did dip down to third in chips. He even started the heads-up battle for the title with a 4:1 chip deficit against a player playing under the screen name “aoteman1888” from China.
However, within the matter of minutes, Astedt was suddenly in front. From then on, there was no question about the eventual winner. Astedt finished it off by shoving A4 off-suit, which his opponent called with K7 suited. The board came 6AK Q Q, no flush for either player, which meant that Astedt won the $758,443.29 first prize along with his second career WSOP Circuit online ring.
