The Venom PKO is Coming Back to Americas Cardroom on September 17th with a $5 Million Guarantee
The biggest progressive knockout poker tournament on the planet is coming back to America’s Cardroom on September 17th, 2021. Players will get to enjoy the ultimate competition on the felt with increasing bounties meaning the more knockouts you earn, the bigger the prize.

Americas Cardroom team pro Chris Moneymaker commented the tournament is the company‚Äôs flagship event, and with the PKO rules, players will get to enjoy a truly unique format with instant money for knockouts. Plus, players can qualify to enter the event in numerous ways, including satellite competitions, Sit n Go’s, and giveaways, among others.

The Tournament will get started on September 17th with one of four Day 1 options. Next, advancing players will continue to battle it out on September 27th for Day 2 and continue the very next day for Day 3. On September 29th, everything will come to a close with the final table.

The way the tournament will work is that every player will begin the tournament with a bounty. When a player knocks out an opponent, they will receive half of that bounty, and the other half will be placed on their head, adding to the bounty for knocking them out. This means that as the play goes on, bounties will just keep getting bigger and bigger. The last time this tournament ran, bounties reached an incredible $118,000 by the final table.

The first time this tournament ran was back in November of 2020, and it accrued a prize pool of $6,777,500. The winner of the tournament was “pinguinachica” who claimed the prize of $477,815 and an additional $273,253 in bounties. This tournament’s incredible prize pool was topped by the next run of the tournament, which reached an even bigger prize pool of $7,160,000. The winner of this iteration of the tournament was “Rydo.” This player walked away with a top prize of $501,916 as well as bounties amounting to $236,218.
